WELCOME TO McGREGOR

McGregor is located only 15 miles west of Waco, along the HWY 84 Corridor, just past Woodway. When looking at real estate, some Midway ISD homes are technically located in what is listed as “McGregor”. However, ask anyone from McGregor (or Woodway) and those houses are very much still Midway/Woodway houses (confusing, we know).

BULLDOG PRIDE RUNS DEEP

McGregor ISD begins south of the McGregor (very small and private) Airport, while McGregor proper is better defined as being south of the Amtrack train tracks, and yes, you can hop on the Amtrack and head as far north as Chicago from little ol’ McGregor. McGregor Bull Dogs are a K-12, UIL deemed 3A school district (high school has less than 350 students when we last checked) with small town feels and activities to enjoy such as easy to join sports and extracurriculars, charming homecoming parades and community events, and McGregor’s hallmark style Christmas Festival “Country Christmas”.
